Logo / Visual Identity Exploration

The 2022 OKRP summer party was themed around nostalgic summer camps, and the designers were in charge of creating a visual identity, logos, and merch.

Logo exploration

We did a thorough logo exploration in many different styles, and ultimately one of the logos I designed was selected to apply to all of our Camp Bananas materials.

With a vintage stamped typeface, the classic OKRP black & yellow, and a subtle nod to the shape of a banana, it was the perfect balance between the existing OKRP brand and the retro feel of summer camp.

Inspiration

We pulled inspiration from old school summer camps, gravitating toward darker, earthy tones, textured typography, and of course the classic summer camp uniform - ringer tees, high socks & dad caps.
